Wow...given his girth, wonder if it was the same "fat pill" that Warne took

Can't wait for the usual quotes from Pakistan that he's "innocent" and excuse xyz

The cricinfo post about this on Facebook already has numerous Pakistani conspiracy theorists imagination going. So far India made him take it, the ICC made them test him as he was taking too many wickets, it's the latest attempt by the rest of world Cricket to make sure Pakistan can't compete. That was just from one page of comments too!

It's a diuretic, so he's probably messed up and not checked the ingredients on his diet pills like Warne! Highly doubt he'll have been taking anything serious, pretty sure they haven't invented a legspin-improving drug yet.

Apparently it's also regularly used for masking the use of other drugs though?

It's on the banned list, so doesn't matter if it's just a diuretic.
Pros get plenty of training and education on what not to take and I'm sure the board's doctor checks supplements etc. No excuse at all

Yeah that's why it's on the banned list, but what is he seriously going to take? He clearly isn't a big fitness type after all. Be interested to see what he says, imagine it'll play out in similar fashion to Warne and he'll get a year or so ban.

Ahh, that's a tasty theory. I like it. The truth is often stranger than fiction?

So how long should he banned for? Given that:

1. The banned substance is found commonly in blood pressure medication
2. He and his wife both take blood pressure medication
3. He had actually informed the doping guys about the medicine at the time of the test

Doesn't seem particularly nefarious now does it?
