Crack in shoulder

Picked up this bat a while ago but haven't used it in anger yet.  Wondering whether I need to do anything about this crack in the shoulder.  It doesn't seem deep & hasn't opened up so I probably wouldn't be able to get any glue into it.  Should I bother or just leave it?

Put a bit of glue into it if at all possible, once dry, sand and tape with fibre glass tape.

I would leave that as it is. You'd struggle to get any glue in anyway. The likelihood of it getting and worse is slim with it being so high on the blade.

Just wrap a bit if fibreglass tape round the blade in that area to cover it, then just leave it because of Ryan's reasons

Wouldnt bother with glue as suggested leave it or apply 1 wrap of fibre glass

Thats superficial, no need to glue or tape it really.

If you really want to do something for peace of mind, some liquid superglue would get right into that, sealing the crack. Simply dab it on over the crack, let gravity do it's thing and don't touch it until it's 100% dry! Once that has dried use a fine grade of sandpaper to tidy up the glued area.

Alternatively put a strip of tape over it. Out of sight, out of mind.
