What a set-up. Just got back from B3 in Notts and am honestly so impressed.
Nipped in to see @The Doctor to sort my bat profile and spent what seemed like an eternity (judging by Mrs DH's weary expression, anyway) chatting bats with Gavin(?)
(I'm so poor with names and I feel awful... this guy is a genuine hero. So knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his craft).
Tapped up endless players' bats they had on the wall - one, for an ex-international skipper, weighed half an Oz. more than mine, but seemed to pick up about half the weight. Unbelievable.
Specs wise, I've gone for a long blade in Gaz Cross profile and asked for offset edges. Left everything else in Dave's capable hands.
Also came back up the M1 with a pair of pads and their traditional gloves. Love what they're doing down there and wish 'em every success.

Profile looks very nice. Is this complete Bespoke design or did you pick one from custom or DB series ?

It's one of their shapes, Gaz Cross, but asked for offset edges. So kind of bespoke, I guess!

One day i hope to visit the uk and make the trip to a few bat makers including B3, but the declining $Aus which is predicted to fall to $us 0.60 by year end makes this like living on Pluto.

Was great buying UK Bats when the $AUS was above the $US.

Have to knock-in more bats.
