Lynn, head and Khawaja would be a good back up bench for if finch/Warner got injured. Not questioning Warners talent but he isn't even signed for a big bash team and couldn't get in his ipl side last season.

His test/odi form is much better than his recent t20 stuff.
Warner is the captain of Hyderabad in the IPL.

I don't see why Watson's in the side...

Khawaja's certainly unlucky not to be playing ODI/T20Is.

Might have been year before then but remember there was dhawan finch and Warner at Hyderabad and Warner got the least amount of goes.

Edit: that was definately year before as Hyderabad released finch, he went to Mumbai got injured and now Mumbai have released finch.

White wasn't only outed as skipper he was not offered a contract. Not surprising given the whispers about him not being a great team man. Appears to have got quite grumpy as his form has dropped off and is regularly out of the Victorian team.

Seems to be a few high profile first class players now struggling to get a game in the Shield. Should be an interesting off season.
