Nice morning at Vitas
« on: January 22, 2016, 01:00:43 PM »

Thanks Jake and Robin,

A nice hour or so picking bats up, a lovely H4L Warbird on its way to me, pics to follow.

For anybody thinking about a Kook ghost, they have a lovely one in that picks up amazingly for such a big bat, it won't be there long I am sure and nearly came with me..buy it if you want a Ghost..

For flip's sakes, now I'm going to have to ask about that Ghost...  >:(

Love the set up at Vitas, still remember my visit about 2 and a half years ago now. Plenty of space to play shadow fours with bats.  :D

You are welcome mate, will be knocked in and ready for your next net booking :)

Some lovely Focus gear purchased not long after you left by a fellow forum member.

Honestly the ghost was amazing, I got it down to two bats and could easily have bought the ghost instead, if I had not bought a devil from them already I would have taken the ghost, it picks up sooooo well...

Can't remember how long I was in there on my visit, but pretty sure my 15 minutes lasted a lot lot longer than that.

I was quite late home.

A marvellous place, well worth a visit.

Thanks for your help today Jake. Really impressed with the Focus gear, I'll put up a review once I've had chance to use it. Saw the Warbird that you picked @Mel Jessop. It's a meaty blade, that's for sure. Looked a beauty.

It's a great place. Still got a bruise on my foot from last weekends  net from a 90mph ball.

90? Rather you than me! 85 is quick enough

At 85 i feel it takes me 10 balls to get used to the speed, it's not very good coming out of something static thiugh as i feel you cant judge it properly

Surely 90mph in the plums?

Surely 90mph in the plums?

I wear a box though and net in trainers, my box set up is spot on so it doesn't bother me wearing one to the gonads! That and the fact that I've recently decided that 2 children is more than enough! However 90mph on the big toe wearing said trainers would bring a tear to the eye
