I don't have a vast knowledge of the Indian bat makers, and I am sure there are many hidden gems. That said I think it's difficult to look past BAS. I have a top of the line SS which is very fine, but still there is something different about the BAS for me.

Go for BDM dynamic power original/super range. Both are grade 2 willows and around 100 pound mark in India. If you plan to visit the factory do pm me I can help you in setting up a meeting with Aditya. Very friendly and helpful in selection of kind of bat you would like.

Have Used a BDM earlier and also my team mate is BDM fan, he has about 5 BDM's with him now. One thing noticed though is that they are very soft pressed I guess. Takes ages to knock them. One complete season and still feels that the bat needs more knocking. But one bright thing is that, BDM's have the thickest handle of all the Asian mades I noticed.

No more budget any more for bats this season. Will definitely contact you next season for any BDM's. Thanks for offering help.

I will definitely keep the thing in mind and won't be buying the bat just cos they say it has got different technology, However my opinion is based on the actual performance of their bat I have seen my own eyes as many local cricketers uses it against us.

I know any such tech is useless and they probably just copied the tech advertisement they are boasting about from Kookaburra and never would have got the brain/capacity to actually implement it. Still the bat blade is good looking and they are cheaper.

But I have seen the performance of the bats without this tech, and they go good.

That's actually true. I have knocked BDM sixes till its face actually broke/dented a little. But still feels it can take a beating or two. Now however I feel they are late opening willows and will open up in future.
I might buy in future the BDM Power Extreme or may be Titanium or platinum. I just loved the treatment given by Aditya Mahajan. Genuinely cool guy and better than SS staff. Offered to stroke the bat 1000 times just to make the deal sweeter

That's true. And I used three grips just to make it more thicker and create balance

Yes their bats are a bit soft and takes time to knock them. But when getting them customized, one can give this feedback and he will ensure to get your bat extra pressed and as per your liking. More than the handle I like the bat balance and no nonsense approach to their models. Other Indian brands have a lot to offer across different range whereas BDM have few selected models which they deal in since ages. And ultimately their blades are pretty clean if you compare similar range model in different companies.

Had a BDM something 10 years or so ago..went well.But can attest that they take time opening IP.
