Part finished bats
« on: November 25, 2015, 06:28:21 AM »

I noticed on the H4L website there is the option to purchase G1 or 2 part made bats, I presume this includes pressing, but I guess the real question is what's left to do?

I think they are pressed and handled with a rough shape all you have to do is take some wood out and finish the bat to the shape you would like I think you have to bind the Handel as well

Just finished shaping my attempt. Fairly pleased for a first go with rudimentary tools. Got some stickers on the way and will post a few pictures when complete. Found it quite relaxing to be honest, cant imagine it would be, doing it as a business, even with the necessary talent which I don't posess.  May order a couple more if they're still available to buy. One question is where to buy decent (I presume wax coated) twine from.
