New Uzi on the way
« on: February 01, 2016, 04:02:30 PM »

I'm very excited that a new Uzi grade 1 is on the way across the pond to me.  Assad has been amazing to deal with every step of the process.  I can't recommend him enough. Once the bat has arrived I'll post pictures and a little review. Get down to Uzi everyone!

Thanks Guys, We have sold huge amount of our bats , softs over the last 2 years. Introduced Uzi Duffle last month and so far sold half of  the stock. My son Uzi is  playing in Melbourne Australia, and has sent us a lot of orders of our kit.
Almost all our bats are made in UK and over the years we have improved the quality but kept the prices same.
We can offer Forum guys 5 Special Bundle Deals, either Pro or LE.
If interested Plz email or DM

So the new UZI is here. Firstly amazing service from Asad I can not recommend him enough.  Secondly the bat is superb,  zero con caving, picks up like a dream, lovely semi oval handle, pings like crazy.  Asad oiled, knocked it in and added a scuff sheet then sent it to America!!!!

Can not wait to get in the nets with it....check out UZI you will not be disappointed.

Well I've never actually weighed any bat I've ever used I just pick them up and wave them about and see what feels right.  This is the first time I've bought a bat online (kind of only option being in the U.S. at the moment).

I am pathetically weak so I always assumed I was in the 2.7/2.8 camp but never really sure.  I told Asad this and he sent me picks of a few bats which were 2.10 but picked up well, I picked one and it is amazing.  I know dead weight and pick up is something of a smoke and mirrors conundrum but I just trusted Asad and he didn't let me down.

My advice would be to get in touch with him...he's a ledge!

Quick update.

Used this bat for the first time properly yesterday in a practice match.  It went like a dream, one through the covers which I didn't even feel was at the boundary before I'd even looked up.  Took on a short one which didn't feel that good off the bat but dropped about 4/5 yards short of the boundary, looked at the bat and I hit it about an inch below the splice!

As it was my first hit in a while (since August) I didn't time many and the bat (although it picks up lovely) is a bit heavier than I normally use so it will take a bit of getting used to but I was super impressed and super pleased.

As it was just a practice match we had to retire on 25 which I did after about 5/6 overs so more than happy.

Cheers Asad.
