I have had this and the ones from the roll from Vitas. I can say that there is absolutely no comparison. I would strongly suggest you get it from Vitas, it is more supple and sticks very well. it works out about 2 quid a bat. If you want to save a quid and buy an inferior product then go for it.
Is there any need for some of the rudeness on the forum. It is starting to get a bit much.

@rp27 It wasn't meant as a comment to cause friction. Just my opinion on a product that in my experience is nowhere near as good.
If you like the sheets you have purchased then that is great, I hope they serve you well.

This does have some echoes of a few years ago when many forum members went crazy for the Slazenger scuff sheets from Sports Direct for �1. They were the best things ever if i remember correctly. However once the cricket season kicked in and the sheets had come unstuck or disintegrated, opinions soon changed.

chill out fella. THe one thing we can say is Jake will have seen and knocked in all the different types so should have a good idea what is good and what is bad.

Fair enough, you've obviously got more experience with scuff sheets than me, and I'm not doubting yours are better, I just didn't really see the need for you to tell people they would essentially binning a quid buying them. The ones I bought have been fine so far but I guess we will see how they fare when the season starts.

Yes maybe that comment was a little too harsh, worded in a way as if i'm looking down at someone. It wasn't the intention. But I must say i have had to put plenty of these sheets in the bin not long after failing to apply to a bat adequately.

Perhaps I'm doing it wrong, but by comparison the sheets we sell go on like a dream, and there is even the flexibility to remove them multiple times (only immediately after applying) to make adjustments if needed - ie if i apply it wonky etc.

What scuffs have a used! Lots.

Hammer edge! Don't rate, tad to hard imo and had a few crack and harden with age.

Asain imported ones(the same as the ton) had ones that don't stick, and a few that do stick but don't like impacts. Will avoid now. Quality varies.

Bulldog helicopter scuff. Good hard wearing and sticky. Recommend.

B3 scuff sheets, good hard wearing and sticky, recommend.

Vitas scuff roll, good hard wearing and sticky m, recommend.

(I have a feeling the above 3 are one and the same)

B3 full width fibre tape! My favourite, very hard wearing, offers great protection and bats still ping lovely!

Gray nics fibreglass. My 2nd favourite. Do similar to b3s tape but the strands can be less uniformed, so therefore uglier(although all think there ugly anyway).

I will add, I've not come across a scuff sheet yet that likes edges, all end up with peeling and bubbling as I tend to edge a lot!! Lol

its easy to say your wrong, its better to provide evidence or rationale to prove your point.

for the sake of clarification I'm referring to the fibre face sheets that are not clear. they don't look nice to me... iv never seen a top end bat with them on. but I've seen top end bats with clear sheets.

as for aiding rebound. unless there is clear evidence for this, everything is just opinion. mine and yours, which makes you no more or no less correct than me unless proven... however if i present logic and you don't, it makes me at least in my view closer to be correct, then someone who just says no your wrong without any logical argument or evidence

i don't think the fibre tape aids rebound. they are soft and would actually act as a shock absorber so wont aid repercussion. however as they are so thin, the difference may be little or negligible.

wow thats cheap, where is it made? I'm after the ones made in england . no disrespect to those made elsewhere, just I'm a customer who doesn't know his market so doesn't have the energy to go through testing all the stuff from eg Pak / Ind etc... they may make them as good or better. but i don't know where to find them, and be sure they are the premium ones.

my experience with the fibre sheets was bad only because i think i got the cheapest ones... maybe the better ones are obviously better. however i still think they will cover the face of the bat, and i want to see the grains on my bat...

back the main question, where do i buy a full roll of it. i understood they are made in England so who manufactures them and how do i contact them. thats the million dollar question. thanks

Take a look at some of the test players these days and you will see plenty of the fibre sheets... I know Michael Clarke used them and I have seen many others

I am guessing certain pro's use it as it is lighter than other alternatives and offers excellent protection. The pro's that do use it tend to be the ones that like there bats to last. So that tells its own story. Personally I don't use the fibre sheets as it hides the grains and can potentially hide any damage that might be occurring under the face, which if caught early could be prevented from getting serious. Then there is the nightmare of trying to remove it. The glue is an absolute pain to get off. Most people just sand it off but this takes about 3-4 sand disks which can work out quite costly. The benefit of the top quality UK scuff sheet is the excellent quality. Very rarely will you get any tears, sticks very well, offers excellent protection and relatively easy to remove with hardly any glue residue. So for me there is only one winner.
