All,
I was under the impression it was not a surprise. I believed that H4L knew. That appears to be a case of misinformation on my behalf, for which I must apologise.
If you didn't know Matt - then yes, it should have been handled better. I thought you knew, and so this was no surprise. Clearly not handled the best on our end then. I was told Paul had opened a dialogue when last visiting H4L, so thought this was something both parties were aware of. Like I said - the vague nature of it all is probably a fault at our end.
I don't think posting that we won't stock brands who we don't fully believe in, or can't fully get behind (for whatever reason), is out of order. It is just our opinion. Same as someone posting a comment about a new range, if it be negative or positive, it is just their opinion. You then back up your opinion by not buying that particular range, and we back it up by dropping a brand, or not stocking them as heavily. It's just different scales. We all have our opinions, so it's up to everyone to get along with those various differences.
Yes, the surprise thing may not have been fair. But posting that we can't support H4L, for our own reasons, I don't think is unfair.
