Omg Leonie is back !!! Welcome back
How fantastic is that Ps sorry about the Danish thing got confused !
But now that you are back on can you give us your thoughts on the women's t20...impressed at rising standards in the women's game?
England are now fully professional, should we expect better results now money is being thrown at the women's game?
And is the way forward for a separate league structure for women, or women and men playing together like Sarah Taylor has in Australia?
Be great to get your view point....
HAHA I got an email telling me bunch of weird cricket fanatics mentioned me. So had to check out the rumours, you know to deny everything!
Hahaha no problem BTW.
I'm personally more a test fan due to being a spinner and hate having only 4 over's to bowl.
But it's great seeing the t20s becoming such an entertaining game for everyone. It's very different to the men's game as the men are big hitters and that's the entertainment value. Where with the women's game it's more placement and quick runs.
To be honest I personally never likes watching women's cricket but it's getting so much better and especially due to the likes of Sarah Taylor for example.
Now I myself am an ex international and I see more things from a different aspect. Such as great that England are full professional well deserved, but the gap between the top teams and the associated teams are HUGE it's no where near like the men's. (All credit to Ireland for doing a great job of joining the bigger teams)
When/if I can ever play again I'll be joining a men's team myself.
But I don't recommend doing this for every league or team. Definitely not. It's two different games. Plus let's be honest men are stronger and bowl faster. It would decrease the men's game.
