Thigh Strain
« on: May 15, 2016, 02:29:19 PM »

Hi all,

Any advice on how to overcome a thigh strain? Hurts when setting off for quick singles but relatively pain free when jogging lightly so I'm assuming its not a tear

I did my quads badly last year. Took about 3 weeks to heal.

I'd recommend a foam roller, lunges, three times a day, rear knee up and holding for 30 seconds (it isn't healed until it doesn't hurt) and some kinesio tape (I don't really subscribe to the medical benefits but it seems to work from a mental perspective)

Squat or lunges training might help!
