Shenley Fields SYS CC play in Northfield, Birmingham. We are currently looking to recruit players for the 2016 season and beyond. We put out a second team for the first time in 2015, who won division 12 West of the Warwickshire league. However, this impacted our first team who had won back to back promotions in 2013 - 2014. We are looking to find players to improve both sides.
While winning cricket matches is important, we are very keen to play cricket in the right way and always try to reward regular, reliable players who contribute to the club on and off the field
Our first team is currently on the look out for a wicket keeper and to strengthen the bowling options. The second team is looking for reliable players who enjoy the game.
Maybe you currently play for a larger club and you are not getting the opportunities you would like? Maybe your looking to start playing or return to the game and would like to do so at gentle pace, where you would get a chance with the bat and/or ball
We would welcome all new comers. Our facilities are excellent with 6 changing rooms, kitchen function room and lively bar with Sky Sports. Please get in touch if you would like to come to our nets and meet the squad.
