Not used one personally but I played against a Saffa using one a couple of seasons back (he had full DP gear and the bats had black stickers if that's any help).
It made an awesome sound and sent the ball flying miles (but that may be something to do with the bloke using it...)

Our saffie coach last season had one.. Looked good, old school shape, simple but worked well for him.

Jaco castle. A saffa pro we used to play against midweek was sponsored by him.

He took a guy for 31 in an over, including a six that landed on top of the pavilion, not the pavilion of the ground we was playing on, but of the club opposite......

That thing flew! Tried to get one after but never found it easy to aquire one.

One of my teammates has one which absolutely flies, however he finds it a bit too heavy so doesn't use it unless in good form

Serious player, was Jaco. I know a lad who's working with DP in the UK now, down south. If you want his details, give us a shout

One of our guys was sponsored by them, they go well but the splice/shoulders will break pretty quick

D&P does make quality bats.We currently have 6 players that use there full gear and they swear by them.A really lovely bit of willow and the finishing is second to none.Don't know anything about the UK gear but the SA gear is fantastic :D
