Hello echo B3 echo echo
« on: May 29, 2016, 12:34:47 AM »

Probably not thread worthy but I'd like to see the replacement for @procricket soon here please showing us some of the bats running through the factory. I enjoyed looking at all the creative shapes @procricket  showed us at the expense of my hip pocket  :)

Looking through the 50% thread to get my fix is a mixture of sweet and sour so it's time to brush that aside and move forward.

I suppose everyone saw the glove offer video.

Noted. We will make more of an effort over the coming months.
So what would you like us to post about? Process, production, Q&As or just bat porn!!!

@H4Ladam was not a dig at the sponsors.

Q&As are great though, but a pictorial history of h4l's growth would be fascinating.

In-Season lull I guess, peak selling season so more time is spent behind the till making those massive margins than posting new designs.

Which reminds me, @H4Ladam , how's the clothing range coming along? I hope you saw my post requesting a SnapBack!  :D

Where did you learn to press and craft bats, Matt?
The occasional pic of an exceptional profile or cleft will never go unappreciated!  :)

I was just focused on B3 @Alvaro and hoping to get some action on this part of the page. I can visit a website to see the majority of others off the shelf offerings, but these bats are driven by the buyers imagination and seeing is believing.

Put to bed the past and move forward.

I'm no procricket but popped into b3 to pick up a repair (excellent job done). As it was after hours I managed a nosey about - there were the normal Asian influenced profiles a GN high spine / small edge profile being finished but the best looking profile on the rack was a 1 stripe in the Rooooot profile. At 2.12 easily picked up a couple of oz lighter and big for the weight - I'd say a perfect club cricketers profile with large coverage thanks to the slight duckbill (think streaky said it was a 370 density cleft). Sorry no pics!

Think i totally underestimated the time and work Dave put in with b3, if they could just knock up another 50% offer we'd see bat porn galore again!

I agree, Dave did a fantastic job and worked so hard for sometimes little praise. Forget about forum offers I think at this stage. Perhaps the business is investing more in advertising than word of mouth via the forum.

Let's face it we tend to swarm on hot topics. I have found on my hobby page that a photo of a huge bat generates more hits than a perfect grained bat. We all love the look of a sports car, but the practicality of using it for everyday situations leaves it for those who collect or track day race. That doesn't pay the bills for a manufacturer unless they have a niche market and charge more for exclusivity. The humble VW Beetle rescued a nation as it was a car for the people, not the collectors.

Perhaps we might get a butterfly offer one day. I was excited by the DIY idea that was floated.

Morning all

Just to let you know that the Doc and I will be posting here now. Unfortunately I have a full time job other than B3, a young family and umpiring commitments around North and South Yorkshire and in no way able to devote as much time and energy as Dave was able to, whilst the Doc is busy dreaming up new bat designs and running the office an factory back at HQ.

Please let us know what your wanting us to post on here and we will chat together and devise a cunning plan to hopefully satisfy you all.

Thanks @Butterfingerz. Keep us in mind whenever a pro changes their shape or a new monster or original bat  is designed.

Funny that Richard i too have a young family (one i may add has a life changing condition) and have a full time job and played over 40 games last year and in truth got no direction from the hollow B3 headquarters yet still did it.

Many thanks for the kind words my input added around 4 hours a day every day of the year a increase of 2 and a half hours per day for a whole two years is alot of time to be taken away from anybody i agree Rich.

B3 need to up there game with some forum members taking on more the bats are good......
