Now i kind of have a proof for the name on toe thing 😜

How come Sanga's head and face look so large in comparison to his legs and hip? Is it photo shopped?

We received a Kieron Pollard CA bat which we reviewed it was pretty much identical to the SS in this post. So I would like to say this is more than likely a genuine pro bat and a very nice one at that.

Having seen this SS bat in flesh and being used by my good friend mujju (cbf member), the ping is unreal.

For ur info SS owner is a very close friend and I do talk to him regularly so I have not wasted my time and money. My post was not aimed at you to prove that it is Pollard bat or not. I was just curious that I have never seen a bat from SS where they have written names on the toe when I had quite a few custom made bats made in various players shapes.
I am just letting people on the forum know what the SS owner has stated in his email.
Main thing is u r happy with the bat and that's what matters...

you did the right thing. otherwise other cricketers will not know the good from the bad from the ugly. its always good to know what manufacturers do and never do. it clears the air. however all the pics are confusing still.

This is exactly what i am trying to find out so it helps you me and everyone else. I will definitely check with him

i dont believe their is a significant amount of difference between an actual players bat and a top of the line bat / custom made bat you get from a top manufacturer, to justify all the fuss people can some times and are making. if we pay the same amount of attention to our temperament we will do much better to score runs. all this is a sign of the mentality many so called cricketers have got them selves into. i will be pleased or not pleased to know how they actually perform on the field. i guarantee you they will not be in the same zone as a peak performing athlete, who cares mostly and more about his behaviour and mindset then his kit (for where there is a negligible / insignificant difference). it just diverts the mental energy, which is counter productive.
