GN Batting Gloves
« on: July 06, 2016, 07:00:50 AM »

Further to my recent topic regards the GN Prestige gloves, and the bad news that they're not in stock - even with GN, I'm wondering if any of the other GN gloves get a good review?!

Like the sausage... style gloves.

TIA :)

The omega gloves are sausage fingers and seem to get good reviews. They're on the opposite end of the spectrum to the prestiges colour wise though  :)

I'm not a fan of foam filled gloves and much prefer sausage fingered gloves, but the supernova 900 gloves feel superb. Sausage design, foam filled, lovely fit and feel...

I have the powerbow sausage fingers from This years range.

A very good glove, fingers identical to prestige, minus thumb as its two pics, but very comfy and good protection.

The kaboom in the picture is an old Grays glove, 2014 I believe, but apart from colour it is identical to the prestige glove in every way that matters.

And owzat still had a pair in there bargain bin when I visit last week.

The omega sausage glove is identical to prestige in every way except colours and use of Poron XRD foam

Cheers so far guys - will try on the Omega and Supernovas see what I think! Do prefer the prestige ones due to the whiteness mind :D

To throw my piece in here - I know they aren't sausage finger but the Omega 1500 are the best gloves I've ever used. Light, comfy and very protective. Incredibly flexible. They might be at least worth a look!

Haha I like that!

Phantom are good, I just think the XRD allows a lighter and more flexible glove.

Next year's top end gloves are almost all split from GN btw

Might have to look at split / squared gloves! Just loved the prestiges and for the money, they were an absolute steal.

What are thoughts on the F18 1500s? As they're named a 1500, are they the same? Seem to save £££s and look a bit cleaner! Not too partial on garishly coloured stuff... although I did have the green and black Power Players gloves  :D

2017 GN range almost all splits? The clues in the prestige selling out almost everywhere, surely?!

I would suggest so - bit of a shame as everybody loved the prestige gloves!

The prestige gloves would be amazing in a split finger version could be the cheaper alternate to the legend gloves, never been a fan of sausage finger gloves so this is perfect for me

Looking at the GN website, the prestiges will be back in stock around November - simply underestimated the demand they would have for the gloves by quite a margin.

I'll be giving UZI a bell on my lunch hour, as I adore them! - That and I bought a pair of Legends for the weekend, but they have already bust (sweatband strap has come off the sweatband so no longer fastens - not bad for 8 runs..!)
