Question About Laver & Wood Signature
« on: September 06, 2016, 04:11:41 AM »

I need information on Laver & Wood Signature bats.  If you own one or have owned one in the past:

- What were your impressions of the bat?
- How did it play?
- How long it lasted?
- How long did the bat take to open up?
- How would you rate a Signature against top of the line bats offered by other bat makers, say Tim Keeley, Stuart Kranzbuhler, Robert Pack?

Thanks.

Having owned 4 Signatures, 3 Scats, 2 B3 Crowns and 2 Kransbuhler Warners, I am happy to report that they were exceptional! The absolute best have been the 2 GN, closely followed by the B3 Pepsi Crown: these babies pinged from day 1 where the others took a little while to open up. Once opened though, they all went like tracer bullets! You will not go wrong with any of these although, i can say that the best service you will get will be from B3 by a country mile, and you will get exactly what you ordered!

Have had 3, 1 I sold to pete hosk un used as new. Currently have 2, both gone from day 1. First bat cracked in quite a few places but had no issues with it, used for two seasons. One that I have for sale I never gone on with, was 2 ounce lighter than the one I used for two seasons.

not long. By the end of the knocking in, they were going pretty well but i had the problem a couple of times where the bat arrived a good couple of ounces heavier than what i ordered.

I think even Viv Richard and Sachin Tendulkar combined, would have had not this kind of an elite weaponry.
