And another quick review.
I took delivery of this bat today, I haven't tapped it up yet and the pictures were taken just after oiling.
This was an eBay find that cost me £89.99 brand new! A Hunts County Turbo Revloution HPZ 900.
I have removed the factory grip and applied a white chevron over half a snake.
I haven't tapped this up yet, but it will need knocking in so I'll hopefully be able to comment on the performance of the bat once I start the process.
There are 6 grains, not perfectly straight or evenly spaced, but that doesn't bother me too much. There are a couple of hard bars on the face but no blemishes to write home about. The handle is a nice semi-oval that isn't too thick in the hands. The bat picks up very well for it's dead weight, mainly down to the high swell.
This is another traditional shape from Hunts, no huge edges but a high spine and minimal concaving, I love the contours of the profile towards the top of the blade.
