England Tests

1. Hobbs
2. Sutcliffe
3. Hammond
4. Root
5. Barrington
6. Ames (wk)
7. Botham
8. Trueman
9. Tyson
10. Lohmann
11. Anderson

If spin friendly surfaces, then remove Anderson for Laker!
If more than 1 spinner then there is always Verity, Rhodes or Underwood? Rhodes is good enough all rounder to replace Botham if it's a dust bowl!

Special mention to loads of others including KP, Cook, Gooch, Stewart, Barnes, Hutton, Compton, Knott, etc, etc.

Tounge in cheek. But an all time Yorkshire XI would hang in this company....

Hutton
Sutcliffe
Tendulkar
Root
Hurst
Rhodes
Bairstow
Jackson
Verity
Trueman
Bowes
