Icon cricket.
« on: January 16, 2017, 10:11:35 AM »

I've been watching BBL and seen a few players (Wells and Short) using icon cricket gear.

The bats look pretty big and look to have a high middle but with a long spine.

Has anyone used Icon cricket and what's the best way to get in contact with them?

Cheers

Hey buddy, we (cricket asylum) work closely with then as they supply our coaching teamwear and we stock there equipment in our shop. If you want there contact details then DM me, or if your after anything in particular let me know. The softs are very nice and reasonably priced, bats have nice full profiles and clean faces, the Icon Wheelie Duffle Bag is also absolutely fantastic, I've got one it's beauty. Let me know if I can help at all

Hi mate, I've seen them at the cricket asylum I come down with Northowram to train.

Need to have a closer look I think. I'm looking to get a bat, pads and gloves. Wondered if there's any sort of deal you do.

Cheers

I bought an Icon signature last season. Not the prettiest grains, only 7 on a top end bat face and all over the place on the back. But it has a huge profile, massive middle and for a 2lb10 picks up like a 2.8 and goes like a train. It's my current reserve as I love my b3 too much, and apart from a slightly skinny handle with a grip that won't stay down I have no complaints about performance. Finishing was a problem, stickers not quite done perfectly and a couple of scratches in the back but they are probably from transit.
Well worth a go I believe, and am looking at getting a full set when I next need to replace my gear!

Anyone interested in the gear, we are offering 25% off all Icon equipment for the next few weeks. Running very low on softs but plenty of bats available in both Signature and Platinum range
