Hi Guys,

My Club, Crewe Vagrants, play on a great ground located in between Crewe and Nantwich on the edge of a village called Shavington (about 10 mins from J16 on the M6 - and no it is not pronounce shave - in - ton)

The club has had a shift in emphasis over the last season with a new chairman, who, after being a part of the club for over 50 years (and still very much a player), wanted to bring a different ethos and where possible reduce the reliance on paid players which although is an inherent part of the game in this league did seem to be ultimately delivering a different club experience than a lot of people were really keen on, bringing some obvious discord.

We have a super strong youth set up right from u19 through to u18, we put out 2 (competitive - ish) sides on a sat and have a friendly team on a Sunday that probably play 6 games a year... we even have a tour planned this year!

As is ever the case though the mens team would definitely benefit from a few additions and if there is anyone in the local area that is looking for a club, or if anyone who may have played for the club previously and would be interested in now coming back then please do not hesitate to get in contact... all are welcome.

Many thanks for reading this

Ah Shevington, used to play football for Crewes academy there. Lovely part of the world and I imagine some fantastic grounds to visit.

Good luck

Absolutely, we do get to play on some fantastic cricket grounds against some great teams... the club and the league do really have a lot going for it.
