Old bat refurb

Hi, just a bit of advice wanted. I've just tidied up (sanded and oiled) an older bat that turned out to be in good condition. The bat played very well previously and was well knocked in before use. Will it require any more knocking in?

If the bat pings okay and has been knocked in Theres no need to knock the bat in further following sanding and oiling
