@Andythomo21 I've noticed the same used myhermes for around 18 months now since switching from yodel, and had no issues whatsoever until I sent a bat back a couple of weeks ago, the courier never came to pick it up even though it was supposed to be, so took it to the parcel shop close to me instead, the bat went through the delivery system just fine, until the final stage, it appeared with "signature received" however the bat hadn't turned up at all.
Thankfully I'd seen Carlos post about the gloves that did the same for him and said signature received but hadn't, but then did arrive two days later, so I waited a few days and then checked with the person it was going to again, and they'd received it thankfully.
I fear that the companies rather very busy, changed hands or struggling somehow as the service in the last month has definitely changed
