A Trip to the Somerset Seaside
« on: February 14, 2017, 12:12:50 PM »

We have some limited slots for touring sides this year down in Somerset
Kilve Cricket Club are right by the lovely Kilve Beach in West Somerset (feel free to google)
We run two Saturday sides and are always asked for more slots for touring sides as we are not far off the M5 and close to Minehead/Taunton/Bridgwater
We run a cricket week from when the kids break up for the big holiday at currently host Shenley Fields SYS, Halifax Bank, Abbots Bromley CC, Sou'Westers, Wisley CC, Mount CC, Allerton CC & Mickleton CC
For the first time this year we are offering Saturday fixtures in September - so if you fancy a trip to Somerset on 16th or 23rd of September drop me a PM
The weather down here tends to still be great in September (and the grockles have gone home)
I could possibly do Sunday 23rd July as we have one spare slot for cricket week
Thought I would ask the forum first before actively looking for games

Can vouch that Kilve is a lovely place to play.

Played you guys on a Friday night in June 2015 when we were on tour in Taunton. Toatally out played us but you were very welcoming, lent us a player and put on a cracking after match bar-b-cue and beer.
