How are GM for refurbs? Got to be better than GN, or...?

Heres my old GM Hero that went in for a refurb with GM, finish was good and they listened to which stickers I wanted.

I think they're better then GN as my brothers Oblivion went to them, came back with that 'tough toe' crap and with new stickers over the scuff sheet and fibre edge tape... :(

Two team mates sent there's off to GM last season, one octane which was newish and crumbling thru surface cracks, one luna gone in the handle.

Both went back with polite letter saying we will pay for the refurbs but can they have a look at a gratis repair. One was done free one a small charge both bats came back fully fixed polished glued new stickers grips etc etc.

I was surprised a bit but cannot speak highly enough in my experience of the service

Absolutely first class service from GM.

Just on this topic or are you willing to extend to the forum in general?

Ive had a refurb done by Red Ink cricket before via a teammate which came back looking pristine. Cant remember price off the top of my head

You can't go wrong with Red ink  having seen Johns work its excellent.

Is that remnants of the Hero sticker on the back that are still visible?

Yeah it was sadly (good spot btw) I think with it being about 9 years before it got refurbed the discolouration was too bad to get out from just sanding alone.

I could be wrong though
