Torpedo cricket
« on: April 17, 2017, 04:38:11 PM »

Can anyone tell me much about this brand as far as I'm aware they are based mainly in Yorkshire area. Asking for a friend who has been offered a couple of bats by them for an ok Ish price. The guy selling them claims he makes them all over here but I wouldn't say that was the case.

Yep that's my understanding Dave, have also seen a few whilst playing against Rotherham sides and they all went well (few years ago mind).

I had one 12 years ago when playing in Yorkshire from one of the Bradford lads in the team. Brill bat. Still going strong in the hands of one of the youngsters in the club. Definitely had a good one.

Think you are meaning Stephen Foster. As far as I understand it he is one of their main amabassadors but not sure he makes them or anything. Could be wrong though.

What a player though either way, check our his stats, batting and bowling!

Equipment is pretty good from what ive seen around our area and from mates that have used them.

This is a small world!!!  :D

I have two of these bats and another one was used by my team mates for solid 2 seasons as a team bat and was used to score a lot of runs. The two that I own are part of my lighter quiver, 2-8 and 2-9; very good bats!
