@trypewriter  - being a terrible PEDANT!!!  I think he might have finger protectors on his bottom hand - which obviously only makes him half as manly!

Most village thing I've seen is someone deciding to oil their bat in the changing room before batting AND it had a scuff sheet on. He couldn't work out why the oil wasn't absorbing. Tw*t.
