Hi fellas.
Just thought I'd offer a quick review and recomendation....
In preparation for getting back into cricket after a ten year abscence, I was on the look out for a specific cricket training programme to help me get as fit as possible in the off season (might as well now I've bought full new kit, so no going back now!
). I have stayed fit through circuit training and running regularly but was getting bored and wanted something cricket specific. After some research online I found Tenax Performance, run by a guy called Connor (who is lead fitness coach for Sussex CC apparently). Anyway long story short I've started a training plan which so far has been excellent and seems like it could really help. It's tailored to me personally and cricket specifically. So just thought I'd mention it as I think a lot of people could benefit from it maybe?
It's app based, so all accessed on my phone and after running through questions around my exercise history/injury history, goals etc he set me a bespoke programme to follow based around mobility, strength and conditioning. Each workout is set out clearly on each day with instructions and videos for each exercise. Simple! He's also looking at diet etc for me too. Compared to a PT at the gym I think it's much better value cost wise and just as easy to follow. All progress is tracked through the app too, so you can see the results and how you're progressing. So far so good, let's hope it helps when I get back out in the middle!
If anyone needs any further info let me know and I'll put you in touch.
