Overrated. Significantly overrated imho.
Have you used the bats from the range so How can you justify that?

Interesting, what was it you didn't like about them?  I feel same about Lavers yet some swear by them. A Keeley is pretty much the last of the well known makers for my collection, H4L so far has been the best of the rest next SK for me.

I’m taking the kids to legoland tomorrow, I’m now thinking how to convince the wife that a detour to Swindon will be a good idea!! 😉

I didn't care for the pressing, pick up, handle, etc. The H4L bats I've had are a million times better in my opinion.

Avoid it like the plague. I took the family there a few years ago. It cost a fortune to get in and was so rammed we only got on 2 rides. If there is any sort of traffic 2 miles from the entrance then knock it on the head. Spend the money you saved at Uzi, get the kids some lego and give the rest of the cash to the missus. You will have a more enjoyable day and leave with better memories.
To be fair the missus took the kids back to Legoland during a school inset day and as it was less busy. Theyhad a great time.

Do people buy TK bats based on reputation? Do they genuinely feel that they are best bats for the money? Do they buy out of curiosity?

I have had plenty of TK bats and I have never had a bad one. To be fair they do tend to be consistent with 3 or 4 being absolute guns!  :o
I have not really found a bad one although a couple have not tapped up as well as some of the others!
And H4L - tend to agree that Matt produces some insane bats.

But really each to their own, and as long as the person has used some then opinions will always vary on experience.

Simply my opinion. It's not to say that the bats advertised here aren't very good. Possibly I didn't give them enough time to open up.

I also feel Lavers are over pressed and a bit overrated.....but that's another thread.

Yes
These are some of the bats we picked up

Not new news, but interesting to see the branded bats in the background.

Her indoors has booked a package with a hotel, entry and queue jumper tickets. I'm sure 2 days spent in Asad's shop picking bats out would be much more fun though. I'd not get my little lad out of the shop!
