Standard Adidas Vectors vs Vector Mids for Achilles issues
« on: December 08, 2017, 04:13:49 AM »

I've always preferred to bowl in lower cut bowling shoes (Asics 220 not outs and more recently for me the regular Adidas Vectors) as for me they are a bit more comfortable and not being the tallest (I'm around 5'10). However, I've developed an achilles issue recently and also had a few minor ankle issues in the past and I'm considering using some higher cut shoes. I like the 2018 Vectors and am considering the Vector Mids for some extra support but am concerned about the mid cut nature of them potentially digging into achilles and causing more discomfort. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Take your time and get your Achilles seen too, which will take ages.
Protection your ankle will be a good thing though.

Ive never felt it cut in on the vector mids but I've not had an issue lol the resent ones are just as light too so you dont feel like an elephant running!

Have you tried strapping it and wearing the normal ones?
