Where is the cheapest I can get a G3 cleft? I havent ordered one for about 2 years now and alot of people seem to have brought so maybe someone can let me know :)

that string will do but not ideal, you want something  finer.  thin your pva down with some water ,put in on the handle before and after .

hit4six i can do you a g3 partmade for £60 inc postage

I've just bought some G3 clefts from Matt @ H4L and they are perfect. Excellent service.
At the end of Jan I'll make a post about them but I've got to revise first for exams.

How did you find using the flat spokeshave? Just cant seem to get the hang of mine! Using the plane is fine, although mine isnt very sharp at the moment!

I didnt want to waste any of it, i would want it to play well all the way down to the toe..Next one will be different i think
