Does anyone have experience of these at their clubs?
I'm sure there are others, and I have no affiliation to them, but the Pitchvision system looks very interesting. Both from a nets perspective and for t'interweb broadcasting of games.
With no cricket on TV and social media being an increasingly important realm giving players the ability to post highlights of their wickets or runs to their own social media accounts might actually help reverse the game's decline. Wish I'd had a video record of my development as a player too..
I remember in Aberystwyth the local footy side somehow got into a European competition. The local Burger King installed a TV with the their ( losing naturally) match against some minor European side or other on constant loop so I think there is an appetite for broadcast localism in sports. Might well help with sponsorship, ad revenue, player retention and publicity for the game?
