I'd be surprised if he's the only one.

Going the way of woodworm it seems

chasing big names this could end badly

I hope its just an error and sorted quickly as KP will be after a new rhino bat maker as well

How many Spartan players are now checking their bank accounts?

Sounds similar to the way of Mongoose, Woodworm and Boom Boom. Mongoose went into admin the first time following a similar claim by 2 pro's.

always need to be wary of new companies paying big bucks to sponsor players , when they have no proven product sales , profit , good conduct /record etc . its a bit different when its a multinational like n.b .... but the likes of spartan should have players doubtful . funny though , Michael Clarke , as far as i know , isn't owed any money ... maybe spartan just shafted their '2nd tier' sponsored players ?

This isn't new with them, difference to woodworm etc is these guys aren't only in the cricket market, they are a massive business with very deep pockets. No brand selling cricket equipment only could have afforded the amount of sponsorships and ambassadors these guys have, they just don't have enough sales. No genuine retailers in Australia are stocking them anymore.

Prior and Morgan were never paid, hence very quick departures. Dean Jones too.

The warehouse contracted to store and ship Spartan in the UK is owed a very large sum of money too.

The only people selling Spartan in the UK now either have a lot of leftover stock, or are one of a handful who have purchased swathes of it on clearance.

They must spend a fortune in legal bills as I'm sure all these pro's will sue for their money as they have agents with teams of people for this

they may sell other equipment but over extending one arm can bring the house down as has happened to many a business
