Each of my bats are kept in full length padded covers. Personally I prefer those without windows.



However, some of them seem to leave marks on the bats themselves.





The worst offender is my New Balance cover. It is also slightly longer than the others and I need to fold the top over to fit in my duffle. (Worst padded cover I have)


To combat this I have made (yes sewed it myself) cotton covers to protect the bats from the padded covers.



Has anyone else suffered a similar problem?

Yes usually if you have oiled the bat and then put it in the cover it does it and if the cover is wet I wash my ones  first then they seem fine after that

Might be worth a spin in the washing machine to run the dye out.

Keep the plastic or bubble wrap covers and have them as a layer inside the full length cover .
I do this and people go nuts in the dressing rooms ....thinking i have another new bat for them to check out .
