Butterfly attempt
« on: February 05, 2018, 01:47:41 PM »

So more partmade bats purchased for practising.

This gem of a butterfly grain wise, I think  has turned out well. It does have a 'drying crack' at the toe which has a Toe Insert in now via Dean @Vulcan Cricket who also gave it a polish and finished the handle whilst he had it (after sending the correct bat  :o). So this will be a net bat to start, will see how long it lasts!.

@simonmay5 has a lovely full H4L which is what I based the shape on.

Just need to sort some stickers out for her!

I will just make it clear, I love butterfly bats - think they look interesting and really perform well!

Will update the specs one I get the bat back... forgot to take before sending! Think its 2lbs 11 and a bit.

Looks decent that Churchy, love a butterfly! Where'd you get the cleft from?
