Maybe as bad as a touring England Ashes side then.

Another twist, I thought the bats were made by Hawk and they recently responded to my email. They don't.

Might just be the way he bats, but his sticks do make an amazing sound, even compared to other pros.

They won't catch us this time! Not this time! They haven't spotted us! No, they're all snoring in their bunks! Or, you know what? They're drinking at the bar, celebrating our sinking! Not yet, my friends. Not yet!

Undeniably!!!! I couldn't get over the fact that his bats sound so sweet hence the search (far and wide). Mystery was solved in another thread, check the link in this thread.

I have a Keeley (Newbery Blitz) that was handpicked by a forum sponsor. It makes an amazing sound!

I looked at pictures of Roy's bats in YouTube clips etc. and they have a very solid, thick square toe, low bow, thick edges and a consistent thickness high up in the bat. It looks close to Blitz shape but with a lower sweet spot. It is very possible that the bat width was sacrificed to allow for thick edges. My two cents.
