Looks a useful training aid. It is one thing knowing I haven't hit the middle, another to get a gauge of how close/ far away I was.
The bat speed data could be very useful for helping decide between a lighter bat (generally regarded as enabling higher bat speed) and heavier bat (typically considered to be slower, but more momentum).
