So GM have just released a Rory Burns player edition and I’ve just seen him walk out to bat with a full set of New Balance?

From a quick Google there was no press release on this.

However, the New Balance business development manager is called Liam Burns. A relation, or just a coincidence?

That's bad news - given we know successful England openers have to use GN or GM, prepare for a drop in Burns' form!

Didn't Trott leave GM because a relative worked for NB?

Not sure his England form will be able to drop much more.
