Hope this is in the right place!
I joined a local club to myself a few years ago (Warton Cricket Club) after playing Premier League cricket and have now been made captain.
Like many other clubs in the local area we have struggled for players, and this led to the 2nd XI folding.
This year I'm trying to get the buzz back around the place. Last year was good, but we have too many players for one team, and not enough for two!
So in short, if anyone knows or any players fairly local to ourselves, or just moved into the area etc, then by all means please get them to get in touch!
We are conveniently located 2 mins off junction 35 of the M6, are we are blessed to have the best ground in the league.
