Here are some before/after pictures of a BDM Dynamic Force Bat I have been working on:

I saw some posts saying that BDM has disappointing decals and presentation so I thought I would post these. It has a big tiger sticker on the back plus some wood carved `claws'. Does anyone remember these bats? Was the tiger plus carving a custom one-off thing? I couldn't find anything else like it on the web. It pings well of the mallet and if it plays well in the nets I might start using it.

Can anyone recommend a way to glue cracks/holes that doesn't leave a dark line on the bat, often more visible than the original crack? I use Superglue and/or pva wood glue. Even if I mix the pva with
willow sawdust it still dries an unmatching darker colour.

BDM did have a period of doing this type of thing back around 2000ish i think, i had an Amazer Y2K bat and it had similar 'grooves' taken out of the back , the bat has come up beautifully though - looks a belter!

Use translucent glue

Makes sense... Can you recommend a particular type? Will any of the `craft' pva adhesives do the job?

Wood glue for cracks that you can open and clamp, super glue for hairline ones. if you sand the area afterwards you should remove all traces.
