Personalised thigh pad
« on: March 19, 2019, 01:00:56 PM »

Wondering if someone can help me, after recently seeing a few posts from moonwalkr with there personalised thigh pads, unfortunately that’s made me want one. I was wondering if anyone had this done before and if so were. I know stretton do some, but was looking on just getting a cheap thigh pad and getting it embroider.

I think Viking do a thigh pad with personalisation options. Or you could buy one off the shelf and take it to a local printing/embroidery service?

I’ve not done it with a thigh pad, but have done various things for clothing design and sports teams - embroidery can work out very expensive for a one-off piece. You might be better getting a similar thing to football shirt names/numbers (the name of the process escapes me at the moment). That way you can get a single colour design done quickly and will probably only cost you £5 or so, depending on size. It won’t be as long lasting as embroidery but should be more than adequate.
