MSR Bats (and softs)
« on: April 29, 2019, 12:20:33 AM »

Hi guys,

I’ve seen on eBay a lot of MSR branded bats (or blank from the same account), as well as softs, they seem to offer G1 or “good looking” bats for very cheap, has anyone bought them and are they worth having a punt on?

Dont know about bats but one of my teammates uses MSR softs and they're pretty decent

If you Enter MSR there's plenty of information on here as owner used to be a sponsor

Played against someone with a MSR bat on sat. Looked new and looked quite nice but was a totally plank sounded awful. That maybe that it hadn’t been prepared at all.
Never seen the softs

Had a couple of MSRs before, went quite nicely but didn't last long. Seen others have mostly similar results although one crap one, but I think that was a £25 job. Wouldn't bother with one of their high grade bats but as a budget buy they're not bad.

Had 3 or 4 of his low grade bats. One of which went like a rocket. A teammate also has one that he's used for the last 4 seasons, cost him 40 odd quid and still pings nicely. Handles can be a bit hit and miss and all seem to take a while to get going.

My experience with MSR bats have been very good, Steve describes every bat individually and that's spot on, his bats are better than many many bats on ebay
