There is one actually. I had an albion original 98 and it did comply with the 1999 standard. It said on the box and inside the shell.
BSI are unaware of standard 1999 https://shop.bsigroup.com/SearchResults/?q=BS%207928
My bad. 1998 not 1999
BS7928:1998 was superseded by BS7928:2013 that includes the penetration test aspect of it. To pass the 1998 you had to perform under a level in a drop test that was carried out twice on the same area of impact. It’s a bit of a throw away comment regarding the ripping off of other brands as they have used the same old shape/style from others and just bastardised it in some manner then Added their own logo to it.
Well at the very least they put their own logo on it considering what happens in the region im sure you know lol. Unless shrey have a copyright on the shell design and masuri have a copyright on the eyeline grill, i dont see a problem with their design. Its neat

Yup i had my pitchfork out and was in deep argument with the owner of MST and encouraging him to get hold of the standard which he eventually did. I'd say if this company ends up making a compliant helmet, it will be a joint cbf effort
Have MST been appointed a certification officer yet for testing purposes?
