Customised abdominal protection?
« on: September 06, 2019, 02:57:38 PM »

This isn't the first time a pro has shown off their customised box, does anyone on here do this?!

Double boxing? I sent a few of the D3O Abdo guards down to the Oz team hotel when they arrived as their head physio ordered them via the webshop.

Hmm...funny, my first thought was that perhaps you should send replicated Steve Smith balls to Root & co but then I realized it is not balls they are lacking. Technique? Patience? Old fashioned grit? "Boo" deflector?

I have a double box. Simply on box inside another with some electrical tape holding them together.
One thing I picked while working with the pros. Outer one will shatter and the inner one will keep the boys safe.

Usually the bowlers will double inner thigh. Chestie, and wear a jumper to soften blows.
Not seen the double outer thigh before.
