GM Siren 404
« on: January 06, 2020, 02:59:29 PM »

Popped into my local cricket shop today to buy some new pads with some christmas money. I had no intention of buying a bat and yet here we are.

It was perfect weight, and i think a steal at £80! I couldn't leave it behind

initial impressions are good, seems a little hard, but a bit of mallet time and winter nets should see to that!

picks up at its weight i would say. this one is 2'11. looking forward to using it!

GM bat seem a little hard, I am surprised.

Please let me know how long it takes you to knock it in and get match ready  :) :)

Have they bleached out a butterfly stain or is it European willow? Either way lovely bat. Well done.

Theres a bit of wobble in the grains about half way down, some kind of graping or stain?  may or may not have been bleached, not sure how you tell!

It’s got a cleaner face than some g1 bats I’ve had!

404 is bleached willow so I think you may be ingot something there. That stair near the middle does have a butterfly like look to it, but a lovely bat for £80 none the less.

They won't catch us this time! Not this time! They haven't spotted us! No, they're all snoring in their bunks! Or, you know what? They're drinking at the bar, celebrating our sinking! Not yet, my friends. Not yet!
