Got, yes. Used in anger, not yet..

I was surprised that I couldn't find any reviews on these but when a saw a used pair for 25 quid I thought I'd give them a go.

Always been impressed with the quality of Kook products, especially in the top of the ranges. One pad weighs 974 grams so not exactly lightweights but fit, feel and finish are excellent.

Couldn't directly tell you the advantages of the materials as yet. And to be honest I mainly bought them because the straps match the neoprene on the Kook gloves.
