Batsman Specific Exercises

Are there any specific exercises that a batsman should be doing which will help while batting? Or should be avoided which can cause issues with bat swing etc.
No access to the gym during lockdown so working out with bands and light weights at home.

Get strong in the basic movement patterns, squat, hinge, lunge, push, pull & carry.

Then add in some rotational based work with cables and or medicine balls and you are on the right lines.

Dont worry too much about it looking like cricket, if you have seen any videos of baseball players hitting golf balls you will see why. Rotational force is rotational force and often transfers. For those who have yet to see it... they hit golf balls miles!
