AS Sports - Bats
« on: November 26, 2020, 02:07:51 PM »

Hi,

Just wondering if members have had any experience using AS branded bats? Their new models look decent branding / shape wise. Would be good to hear some reviews.

I'd stay away from them  :D

They had an offer on last year or earlier this year where they were selling 'grade 1' super cheap... some of the actual purchase photos didn't look grade 1...

I have been lucky with AS Bats, but many others weren’t.
The prices are very good and the bats are solid.

Two things you may expect. They don’t over dry the timber to get super light bats. So no matter what weight you ask for, they will ship you something like 2.11 to 2.13
The bats must be thoroughly knocked in before play or else they will probably crack.

IMO, if you look at the price tag, I think they may not be a bad deal.
I know a couple of players who are very pleased with their AS bats that they ordered after looking at my AS.
