Measuring calipers
« on: June 05, 2020, 03:22:07 PM »

Can anyone recommend some calipers capable of measuring spine height accurately please? My calipers are not deep enough to measure spine, only edges. I'm a cheapskate, so not looking to spend many 10s of pounds

Plenty on Ebay, around or under £10. Search for 'Outside calipers'.
Good luck.

Why a wedding supplier has this in stock, I'm not too sure, but these are the ones I've been using.

Note theyre a bit flexible, so don't squeeze hard to find a reading, just make sure that the calipers are touching the spine and centre of the face for an accurate reading:)

Don't do what I did and buy ones that are >100mm, because you won't be able to measure bat width.

Thanks for the lead. Now they're out of stock though. Must be the rush of purchases from custom bats 😂😂
